The Media Lies about the Inauguration Attendance

The news media has been out to get President Donald Trump ever since he proved them to be biased hypocrites and incompetent in doing their jobs. Media polling was historically inaccurate. Their reporting is incomplete and unprofessionally biased. The double standard and falsehoods are epic. From the false reporting of the crowds at the inauguration to the exaggerations about the “Muslim Ban,” the media is engaging the Presidency not as a new story but as a political target.

The news media went out of its way to create a false controversy over the attendance at the inauguration of President Donald Trump as our 45th President.

The inauguration scheduled was about 1 hour behind the schedule that took place for his predecessor President Barack Obama. There was also tighter security at the Trump inauguration and people were allowed into the viewing areas of the National Mall at a much slower rate because they were jammed up passing through security.

The media used a photo of the National Mall that showed large (white) sections emptied of people are FALSELY CLAIMED that it proved that the attendance at Trump’s inauguration was far less than those of his predecessors, with the intent to argue that he was more disliked by the American people.

This argument was important because the media was also arguing that Trump received more than 2 million fewer voters than Hillary Clinton, even though Trump won the more Electoral Colleges Votes required to become the president.

Trump received 306 Electoral Votes and Clinton only received 227 Electoral Votes.

Trump claimed he beat out all of his predecessors with the largest Electoral College Votes, and reporters, without checking any facts, immediately called him a liar.

But the truth is that Trump won the largest electoral college “landslide” for a Republican in 28 years. He did not receive more Electoral Votes than President Obama, as the media asserted, but that Trump did not say.

So for the reporters, the issue is challenging Trump’s legitimacy. So they distorted the facts involving the inauguration turnout, and they twisted and distorted his comments without seeking clarification which they could easily have done to suggested he lied about the Electoral College Vote.

One “reporter,” George Stephenopoulos literally called the President a Liar in discussing Trump’s claims about the inauguration attendance.

Trump accurately said more people viewed his inauguration than at any previous inauguration. He was including the record number of people who watched the inauguration using streaming media on iPhones, iPads and on Android devices.

Trump and the biased mainstream American news media

There is a civil war taking place in America and it surprisingly is being led by the mainstream American news media.

The news media, which historically has fueled divisions, conflicts, racism and hatred to “sell newspapers,” is now in the business of twisting news and facts in order to create “new realities” that push average Americans to the brink of revolution.

Their end game is to oustDonald Trump as president, the candidate that every news media prior to the Nov. 8, election predicted with a certainty that was unprecedented in arrogance and gall, that Trump would lose. He did not lose and in fact defeated their candidate, Hillary Clinton by winning the very Middle Class states that the media predicted Clinton would win in a certainty.

Every issue is being twisted and distorted. The most egregious include the fake news story that the news media peddled that Trump is so unfavorable — even though he easily defeated Clinton on Nov. 8 with a huge Electoral College landslide margin — that Americans refused to attend his inauguration.

The media used photos of the National Mall between the US Capitol and the Washington Monument as Trump prepared to be sworn in as the nation’s 45th President, something that many media arrogantly declared was an impossibility. The park area is about 1 mile in length and 400 feet wide and in every swearing in, is crowded during major national events.

The early photos showed the National Mall to be almost empty of people. The assertion was that the pictures were taken at the same time that Obama was sworn in to office, four and eight years before. But Trump’s swearing in took place much later than Obama’s, and the security at the National Mall was tighter than it was during the Obama administration. With rain coming down, people were only able to slowly fill the several “squares” that makeup the long park rectangle.

By the time Trump actually took the Oath of Office, the National Mall was almost completely filled up with crowds, with people streaming into only one area through the tight security. The crowded National Mall images could have been shown but the media chose to republish and show only the early mall images of the empty areas, suggesting that the American people were disappointed in his election.

Worse is how the news media tried to blame the debate on Trump, asking “Why is Trump continuing to make an issue of the crowds” at the inauguration. It wasn’t Trump making an issue of it. It was the biased news media making an issue of it.

Here are the actual pictures taken of the National Mall while Trump was being sworn in. These are images taken from television news coverage which briefly and quickly showed the mall during the swearing in.

In addition to the people who braved the rainy weather, millions of Americans like myself watched the inauguration on Television, and millions more watched it streaming online from their iPhones, iPads and mobile devices.

The photo the media showed which was taken before Trump was swore in was dramatically different from the photos above that show the plaza crowding and continuing to fill.
