I signed Barcelona deal – then had a stroke at 24

At the age of 24, I was on top of the world. I had just signed a lucrative deal with Barcelona, the football club of my dreams. But then, out of nowhere, I suffered a massive stroke that changed my life forever.

I remember feeling a sudden numbness in my arm and slurring my words, but I never imagined it was something as serious as a stroke. It was a terrifying experience that left me bedridden and unable to move or speak properly for weeks.

Despite the odds stacked against me, I was determined to recover and get back on the field. With the help of dedicated medical professionals and my unwavering determination, I slowly began to regain my strength and mobility.

Today, I am grateful for every opportunity that comes my way and proud of how far I have come since that fateful day. Signing that Barcelona deal may have been a dream come true, but surviving a stroke at 24 was a true test of my strength and spirit.
